Aloha!  We are looking for farmers and producers on Hawaii Island.  Together we can help to build a strong and vibrant local food system.  We can connect your products with the Big Island Community.

Each week our online store facilitates the distribution of locally grown and produced foods in the following time line:

 

• ​Each Sunday we load available inventory into our online market. This process is partially automated and usually means a brief email exchange between us and our producers to check availability for the week.

• Big Island customers shop our online Market from Monday 7am to Wednesday at noon

• Producer Pick Lists are generated and emailed to all producers Wednesday at 1:30pm

• Producers harvest/produce their sold items and bring to us (or we pick up from you depending on what we have worked out). This happens Thursday by 4pm

• We pack out all orders on Friday morning and hold in cold storage on site

• We distribute customer orders on Saturday in pickup locations in Kona.

• We start the whole process over again the next week

What we require:

• Consistency - please do your best to bring what you say you can

• Quality - please do your best to bring food that you would be happy buying

• On time - please do your best to be on time when dropping off your items

What we will give you:

​

• Payment at the time of delivery. Please bring and invoice and we will pay you with a check on the spot!

• Packing by unit: You bring wholes/bulk and we will handle packing per unit and order

• Distribution: We handle all distribution of to customers

• A good working relationship: We want to build long term relationships with growers and producers

Prepared Foods and Value added products:  *Please note In order to sell anything other than whole fruits and whole vegetables you must hold a current food establishment permit with the Department of Health.
